Curriculum

We are passionate at ensuring that we provide a rich and varied curriculum for our children at each stage of their primary education.

St Joseph's follow a topic based curriculum where we ensure that there are meaningful links between subjects and learning is purposeful and meaningful.

We follow the National Curriculum whilst enabling pupils to experience a range of different opportunities and experiences. Learning at St Joseph's is enriched by the inclusion of a range of visits and trips, and by inviting visitors into school. Our close proximity to Deptford Train Station and the DLR, enables us to travel to central London to visit the many museums and galleries.

Music, the arts and sport are an important part of our school and we seek to inspire children to try new activities as well as having fun whilst learning.
